The Johnson Space Center is an awesome educational experience. Ladies, if you ever get the chance to take your kids there. Don’t miss it. We almost did because of the cost – the tires were a blip in the Ellis Budget.
Also, I have to give you one more tip. About six weeks ago, I noticed that each of my kids had their own set of bad habits at the table. You know, talking with a full mouth, slouching at the table, etc. I had been hounding them for months, to no avail. So, I decided to take a different route. Each child had one or two bad habits to overcome. If I caught them at one of these habits while they were eating, they got their food taken away for an hour. This sounds drastic, but it became a family joke at our house. And, it worked. We’re not candidates for a Miss Manners contest by any means, but there has been great improvement. And, I’m not embarrassed to take the crew out in public.
