I was not feeling all that great this morning. I woke up and shortly after my nose started gushing blood. By the time it stopped, we were driving through the mountains toward Freemont Indian State park. Of course, once my nose stopped, I had started to cough up blood. Not just a small amount, quite a bit actually. I hope to never do it again. It was the sickest thing. We just assumed it was altitude sickness, even though I have never had it in my life. I cleaned myself up and went toward the front seat to do school. I was just barely starting when I started spurting again. My mom insisted I lay down. I was fine really, I only had a headache, a bloody nose, a stomach ache from swallowing the blood( I didn’t do it on purpose, it just traveled from my nose, to the back of my head, down my throat. You know, like when milk comes out your nose. Only it was the other way around and it was blood, not milk) and I was coughing up blood from swallowing it. I skipped the Freemont Indians and read my book while Katty took a nap.
We were planning to go to these hot springs, which a lady at Zion said were very organic. If any body ever says that again we are not even looking. This place was disgusting, the building wasn’t even a shack and the RV park consisted of old buses with three wheels. We drove in and were greeted by a pond, which, with the state of all the other things, we assumed it was the hot spring. Of course, we were wrong. The hot springs consisted of old moldy bath tubs with holes in both ends for the water to flow in and out, and big metal pipes with rags on them carrying the water. All this for only $7.50 per person! Yea right, like we were going to pay 40 bucks for the family to soak in moldy pools. But we felt compeled to stay and soak just for the laugh. We bargained with the owner until we got to 20 bucks for the family. We stayed there until the bottom of our feet were green with algae and our skin had burnt off.

Miss ya,
Morgan
