We arrived at Arches National Park late this morning and started a 3.8 mile hike to Delicate Arch. Katty and I made a bet that if she could climb to the top she would get a candy bar. If she didn’t I got the candy bar. She won.
We finished the hike and quickly started another one. We saw the arch and then climbed around the rocks. We all attempted to climb to the top of one of the tallest sandstones, all taking various routes. Darby, Tatum, and my mom attempted steep, narrow ways up to the top while I simply walked around to the other side and walked up the not so steep side. I made it up in half the time they did. My mom said whoever gets to the top first got a candy bar. She assumed that she’d get there first. Instead she was last and I was first. That chocolate tasted SO good!
