No time
Howdy!
We finally got to the hotel around 12:30 last night. I didn't get to bet till after 1. Ugh
This place is pretty cool. It has a pool, not big though, a little bigger than the width of the pool at Crossroads. Its clean though. But there's no way I can do a workout. I take two strokes, turn, pushoff, take a stroke, turn, push off. Well, you get the picture.
The breakfast is nice. We have french toast, eggs, sausages, potatos, oatmeal, cheerios, frosted flakes, raisin bran, waffles with the wafflemaker, fruit, donuts, muffins, toast, yougurt. You name it.
You swim team people will be so proud of me. I did a workout!! I couldn't do it in the pool, I already told you that. So I did tryland in the excersis room. I ran a mile, biked two, and did those ski thingis for a mile. Including 150 cruches. IT was actually fun cause they have a tv and so I watched Green Acres the whole time.
During the time we were fooling around, my grandma was doing laundry. We didn't make her do it. That's her hobby. Yep. I know. She saw the laundry room and started clapping her hands and said whith her voice shaking excitedly, "Oh Morgan, I get to do laundry!" I think theres medication for that.
After we hung around the hotel for the morning, we headed to the Yankee candle company. This place was huge. It was like a maze, whith nicknacks, candles of any scent you could imagine, and food. We were there for about 4-5 hours and didn't even get through half. Well I did because I got lost. But nobody else did.
They also had a section where it showed what it was like to make candles in the 1800's. I got a free beeswax candle because I answered the most questions. YAh for me! See, I am smart.
After we finished shopping we picked up my dad from work. He wasn't very happy considering he'd been waiting 2 hours. We were a little late.
We ate at this mexican restaurant right across the street from the hotel. We had to wait forever but we finally got a table and ordered our food. The bad thing was that they gave us these really good tortillas chips for appetizers. I ate to much. By the time our food arrived I ate about half of my delicous chimichanga and was stuffed. BUt I wasn't done yet. My grandma had apparently told the waitress that it was my birthday on Friday and so they came out and started clapping their hands carrying the most delicous dessert. It was like this apple crisp stuff that had been fried and was put on a hot plate. They then topped it with vinalla ice cream and this apple syrup topping that started bubbling and sizzling once it touched the plate. Katty and Tatum both got desserts free with the kid's meal so Darby was left without the dessert. I let her dig into mine. I was stuffed and I needed help. Trust me, she helped alot. Darby ate at leasat half of it and dropped the food twice on my hand. One was from her mouth too. Yuck.
See ya'll later,
Morgan
P.S. I can check my email at the hotel during the day because they have a computer so feel free to email.
