First stop- Niagara Falls. Wow that place is beautiful. We were on the Canadian side, and I have to say, those people got the better view. Us Americans don’t have a full view of one of the falls.
The falls were amazing. I can’t even describe it. I’ve seen pictures but they don’t come close to the real thing. We just watched them. Watched the seagulls, watched the boats with people in ponchos travel on the river below, watched the water. The water just kept gushing, and going, and falling, and gushing, and going, and falling. I actually saw the end of the rainbow. It was right below me by the falls. There was no pot of gold or any leprechuns. My hopes where crushed.lol.
Niagara Falls is mainly a tourist trap. They had all these stupid haunted houses, little stupid museums that were only gift shops, and all these other stupid things.
It was called “Hollywood Planet.” See, I told you it was stupid. But, they had a Hershey’s store!! I was seriously in heaven. They had t-shirts, hat’s sweatshirts, fudge samples, candy bars, candy, aprons, hot pad’s, stuffed animals, candy boxes, and best of all……… 5 lb Hershey chocolate bars!!!!!!!!!! They were about a little bigger than a kickboard, all you swim people know what I’m talking about. For those who don’t, stretch your arms as wide as they can go. Farther! C’mon, it was bigger than that!
Yea, I was in heaven. I told you that right? My grandma bought all of us ½ lb. Chocolate bars which are big enough. But for those who are looking for a birthday present for me…………. Lol.
We grabbed some food and browsed around the shops a tiny bit more. By then we kinda had to get going. We had seven hours of driving to get to Massachusetts by tonight. We walked back to the RV, stopping to watch the water a million last times. Amazing.
We had to go through customs again, and let me tell you, it’s easier to get into Canada that it is to get into the U.S. The security dude glanced around our RV, took our ID’s, asked questions about Katty because she wasn’t born in the U.S., and asked us lot’s more questions. It took a little longer but thankfully they didn’t search the RV. We would have been so totally arrested if they had found those kitchen knives’s………lol.
We are now on our way to our hotel, which will be much better than last nights. Heck, it can’t get worse. It’s a Residence Inn and we’ll be there a couple of days so it better be good.
See ya’ll in a couple days!
