hey ya'll
Ok, gotta make this quick. We're at Casa Bernabe and I have the coveted internet access for a short time. These past days have been super slow and a whirlwind all at once. Our plane was delayed on Wensday so we ended up having a four hour layover in Detroit and a six hour layover in Houston. It was a never ending day. We ended up at Casa Bernabe around 10 that night. Keep in mind that we woke up at 4 our time and went to bed at 2 our time.
We've all been busy painting (ok, so i was given the task of painting the entire kitchen and washroom, ceilings and all. Its a HUGE job, still working on it.), working with babies and toddlers, constructing bookshelves and organizing sheds. I saw several ducks get there heads chopped off and plucked today. Take a guess at what we had for dinner.
You think you know Spanish untill you arrive in a place where English is a second language and you are completely out of the circle. It's almost like your deaf here, its a totally different world. Amazing though.
Ok, so check back soon cause who knows when I'll be able to write again. Could be in two hours so ya. Lol.
SMILES!

ONE MORE DAY!!!
Ok ya'll, whoever ya'll is. No idea who will actually read this but its still fun to write! Like last time we were on vacation nobody even bothered to comment. And you know how happy comments make me. So please, if you read this can you comment? Make them as stupid and hilarious as possible. I love those kind.
So yep we leave for Guatemala TOMORROW. We're leave from Detroit Wednesday sometime in the morning. So exciting. At this point we're about half packed and not very prepared; but you know us, we'll get it together. Maybe.
Oh ya, forgot to mention that the Caudills are tagging along for the ride. Kenzie, Cai, Mr & Mrs. Caudill, and their cousin Aeleia are gonna brave the challenge and try and live with us 24/7 for two weeks. Haha, pray that they make it back alive.
I'd tell you our schedule for the two weeks but I really don't have a clue. All i know is we work at the orphanage Casa Bernabe for a week then tour the country for a week.
So yep, we got the shots (7 to be exact), the drugs, the passports, and the suitcases all ready to go (for the most part). Now all we need is a little more sanity and the hours to pass quickly; or slowly depending on how stressed we are. So get out your bibles, the rosary necklace thingy, and the candles and start praying for us- cause we're gonna need it.
